You may have noticed an additional charge from PaymentOne on your latest Alpine Communications statement. Alpine allows third-party vendors, such as PaymentOne, to place charges on our statements for customer convenience. It is possible that these third-party charges could occur without being placed on the Alpine statement. However by enabling third-party vendor billing, we can assist our customers with obtaining credits for fraudulent charges or canceling the service.
Recently, Alpine became aware of an issue with PaymentOne where charges were added to the accounts of some of our customers. Alpine discovered the erroneous charges and proactively worked with PaymentOne to remove the charge and offer you a credit in a timely manner.
If you were a customer affected by the erroneous charge, no additional action is required on your part. Alpine has contacted PaymentOne and you should subtract the amount of the charge from the amount due on your May statement. If you have questions, concerns, or need clarification on your new amount due, please call Alpine Customer Service at (563) 245-4000, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Thank you for your understanding and continued business.
